Mpangi Pebble Head

Well, I finally finished the third in my series of pebble heads, and here he is. He's not mounted on his wooden frame yet, but I'll do that in the next few days.

I've called him Mpangi. Although he does look rather cross, in fact he is quite benevolent towards the household and reserves the more ferocious side of his nature for driving away malevolent spirits.

are you sure you didn't just take a photo of him on your last trip to the fitzwilliam Rob? If you didn't, I bet they'd pay a fortune for it..

found you through some blogs on the purplecoo site (where I washed up following the country living debacle) will peruse more when back from hols, but meanwhile that head IS a bit scary, perhaps he could do a sun dance for us all.

Rilly - you do know how to make a man feel good, don't you!

Hi Milla and welcome. Not sure I'm familiar with the "country living debacle" but will follow that up. And yes, a sun dance .. we could certainly do with some sun!

Friends just phoned from Cyprus, where they say it's hot and the sea is crystal clear and perfect for snorkelling. The bastards!

Hello Poetess and thank you for your kind remarks. I like your His Master's Voice poem. I've not spent much time on your blog yet, but plan to do so tomorrow.
